The entire Pixvalue team came together to celebrate women on International Women’s Day.

This project was truly a collaborative effort, with everyone pouring their passion and creativity into it. It was a labor of love for us at Pixvalue. We were inspired by the incredible song Epic by M.I ft. Praiz, which we remixed to fit our story. We do not own the rights to the original song as this was created purely as a passion project.

One of the main challenges we faced was bringing the vegetation to life toward the ending. We wanted the grass to grow and fill the soil without overshadowing the blossoming flowers. To achieve this, our talented artists had to carefully separate each blade of grass from every flower, giving us full control over their growth and movement.

Another challenge was simulating her clothing. At first, we rigged the fabric and had our animators animate it manually, but it lacked the realism we were aiming for. To solve this, we developed a custom simulation workflow using scripts that generated a proxy version of the cloth. Once the simulation was approved, the high-resolution garment was mapped back onto it. We also added controls to the proxy so animators could keyframe subtle corrections and fix any artifacts. This not only gave us a more natural result but also streamlined our pipeline.
